Virtual Visits

Christmas visits have gone virtual! Do not miss an opportunity to visit with Mrs. Claus over the internet. We can discuss different options, whether over Zoom, Skype, or Messenger, to connect with your family members wherever they may be.

Recommended Time: 15-20 minutes

Cookie Baking and Decorating

Christmas isn’t Christmas without holiday cookies. Gingerbread characters, sugar cookies with sprinkles or frosted like snowmen, peanut butter sandwiches, and the ever popular chocolate chip are just a few of the standards. I love to bake and to see children create their sugary masterpieces. Allow me to spend an afternoon with your future bakers, whether starting from scratch or ‘ready-made’ cookies.

Recommended Time: One-Two hours

Crafting

I enjoy needlework and crafting, and have many ornaments on my tree from my own childhood. Remember making ornaments from glittered holiday greeting cards, making fun felt ornaments, or making Rudolph from a candy cane? Let your child’s imagination run wild creating unique ornaments to keep for years to come.

Recommended Time: One to one and one-half hours

Advent Calendars

Advent calendars are also an important way to count down to Christmas Day. An afternoon creating an Advent calendar can teach your child so much about the true reason for the season. Each day leading up to the 25th can include an important Biblical lesson, a charitable activity, or any insightful message.

Recommended Time: Two hours

Gingerbread Houses

Start a holiday tradition with a classic gingerbread house! Completely edible and 100% decorated by your child! From the door to the chimney, this unique, one-of-a-kind creation will add the perfect touch of nostalgia to your holiday.

Recommended Time: Two hours

Note: Not recommended for children under 7 years of age.

Holiday High Tea

How special is a tea party?! Your child loves to play dress up, and what better place to go than to a formal tea with Mrs. Claus? Finger sandwiches, tea, mini desserts, and a nice opportunity to have your child tell Mrs. Claus what Santa can bring Christmas Eve. Let’s dress up, sip tea, and enjoy the holiday.

Recommended Time: One hour

Home and Hospital Visits

I know how hard the holidays can be when a loved one is ill. I would love the privilege and honor of bringing joy, a prayer, a smile, and my shoulder to anyone suffering with illness. Home and hospital visits are free.

Recommended Time: As much as needed or allowed

Storytelling and Sing-a-longs

There you have it. Nothing brings the joy of the holiday more than raising our voices in song. Shout it from the mountain with Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Silent Night, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Silver Bells, and your favorite carols. Of course, every event can end with the traditional reading of  ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas!

Recommended Time: 30 minutes to one hour
